   you have it all wrong…..you pay for 8 megaBITS and you get 1 megaBYTE which is the same thing but in a different measurement….i byte is 8 bits and 1 megabyts is 8 megabits….ISP’s advertise in bits simply because the number is bigger…its like saying you payed for 1 metre of string and you got 100 centimetres

    i have a 6mbps connection but every time at 3:00pm it goes down to 300kbps till 6:45 am and i have school from 7-4 and i called at&t all they said was unplug your modem and replug it dsl sucks i should get comcast and at&t is charging $60 for 300kbps connection and say its 6mbps

    How far we’ve gone back–as of 10/1/2008, Comcast has an official threshhold of 250GB per month.
