What features can I disable in Windows XP to increase performance?

Im not looking for an outstanding increase in performance but just you know, little things I can do to tweak performance on my laptop as its not a dual-core and I play a low-end FPS on it and it sometimes lags..

adjust your computer to best performance.
computer properties under the advance tab and performance you set the bullet to best performance.
Turn off indexing service
Run ccleaner
Defrag hard drive
Install Linux, you’ll have all the performance you need
